Truly unique, the AVIC-X1R follows the highly successful AVIC-X1, Europe’s first fully integrated audio, video and navigation system. Conveniently sized in a 1-DIN unit, the AVIC-X1R gives users the best of mobile navigation with maximum attention to flexibility, practicality and performance. It is also a high-quality audio/video entertainment system which provides playback of DVD-Video, single CD, MP3 CD and AM/FM radio. Full Dual Zone capability gives the driver access to the navigation system and AM/FM tuner, while rear seat passengers can enjoy entertainment on additional rear screens. Travelling with the AVIC-X1R, users can call on the precise and easy-to-use searching, routing and guidance features. The 2005 CNDV-50MT DVD map disc contains more information than ever - 6.6 million kilometres of European roads, 1.65 million POIs, and 30 highly detailed European city maps - conveniently on one disc. Drivers can select from 5 on-screen navigation modes, including the Driver’s View mode and Split-Screen mode. The Vehicle Dynamics mode has been enhanced with new graphics. The Memory Navi feature, an industry-first, loads routing data directly into the 64 MB memory, freeing the DVD slot for CD/MP3 or DVD-Video playback during navigation. The quick-response touch panel display is not only appreciated for its high visibility and wide-viewing angle, it also controls all on-board navigation and entertainment. With easy-to-operate rotary buttons and aluminium front panel, the AVIC-X1R will blend stylishly and conveniently into practically any car interior.
